We are blessed to live in the Muskoka region of Ontario, an area with a multitude of trees, famous pink granite, lakes, rivers, streams and waterfalls.  Originally the main occupation in the area was lumbering with some farming, although the rocky soil didn't lend itself easily to it.  Gradually the area was recognized for its' clean waters and fresh air and a new industry of tourism grew up.   There is  a fine selection of resorts to stay in while one is touring the area with some dating back about 100+ years.   Muskoka has become a destination of choice, for the tourist, golfer and sportsman.

Linda's family dates back to the 1850s in this region while Larry's parents and brother moved up here from Toronto in 1957.  Both of us are fascinated by the history of the region and actively enjoy all of the natural benefits it offers.  We are also involved in several church and community activities.
